Service Description

🎨 Paint Your Own Pottery Join me for a relaxed and creative pottery painting event. To secure your place, a £10 session fee is charged per painter which covers the cost of the paints, glaze and the firing of your items. You then pay the cost of the items you choose to paint. Every item is individually priced and starts from £15 The session will run for 2hrs. Once painted, your piece will be glazed and fired in the kiln. Your finished pottery will be ready for collection approximately 7 days later. ✨ Important kiln notice: While every care is taken during the glazing and firing process, pottery is unpredictable by nature. Occasionally, items may not come out of the kiln exactly as hoped due to the firing process. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control, and refunds cannot be given for kiln-related issues. Come along, get creative, and enjoy a fun, relaxed day of pottery painting!

Cancellation Policy

The Glass Needle – Fused Glass Workshop Terms & Conditions 1. Booking & Payment Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Bookings are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date with at least 72 hours' notice, subject to availability. I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop. If this occurs, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. 2. Age Requirements Participants must be 12 years old or above. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless otherwise stated. 3. Health & Safety Safety instructions will be provided at the beginning of the session. Participants must follow all safety guidance at all times. Closed-toe shoes are required; I recommend wearing comfortable clothing. Safety goggles will be provided. I reserve the right to refuse participation if I believe someone may pose a risk to themselves or others. 4. Workshop Content You will create one fused glass item, depending on the session type (e.g., coaster, sun catcher, tealight holder). If your item is being slumped into a mould to create a shape (e.g., dish or curve), please note that I am not responsible for the outcome, as results may vary due to the nature of the kiln process. Your piece will be kiln-fired and ready in 5-7 days. Completed items will be posted on The Glass Needle Student Page on Facebook. Please keep an eye on the page to see when your item is ready for collection. 5. Collection & Delivery Finished work must be collected within 30 days unless arranged otherwise. Postage can be arranged for an additional fee. I take care when packing, but cannot be held responsible for items damaged in transit. 6. Breakages & Liability Glass materials can be sharp. While I take all reasonable precautions, you participate at your own risk. I am not liable for injury or damage resulting from improper use of tools or materials. Accidental breakages of your work during firing are rare but can occur; I regret I cannot always offer replacements. 7. Photography & Promotion I may take photos during workshops for use on my website or social media. Please let me know if you'd prefer not to be photographed. All designs created remain your property, but I may feature your finished pieces for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested. 8. Code of Conduct Respectful and courteous behaviour is expected toward myself and fellow participants. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in being asked to leave the session without
